Meeting with the Department of Public Health Organization and Management, Vice-Rector for International Programs, University of Pittsburgh and TTA students PROTOCOL

Leading professors from the University of Pittsburgh presented an integrated report on COVID-19 for the Tashkent Medical Academy. The event was organized by the TTA Department of Public Health, Health Organization and Management and Neurology.

A lecture on “COVID-19 at the University of the United States and the University of Pittsburgh” was given by Margaret McDonald, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Pittsburgh, an international health program specialist.

The report focused on the organization of the fight against COVID-19 in the United States, the scientific approach to the study of the virus, as well as effective measures taken in some US states and universities.

During the lecture, the teachers of the department and all the students of the TTA were interested in the topic, as well as the ongoing work. Students asked questions that interested them and got the answers they needed.

Speaking on the topic of COVID-19, it was noted that this topic is interesting and full of questions for all of us, as well as the need to use vaccines during the lecture, the rules of personal hygiene. Due to the large number of questions and comments on this topic, it was once again planned to hold an interesting meeting on COVID-19.
