At the holding of the Ist International Educational and Methodological Conference “COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF A FUTURE DOCTOR”
The Department of Public Health and Management of the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA), within the framework of the ongoing European Union project “FOstering the doctor of the 21st century: education for patient-centered communication” (FOR 21), announces the holding of an international educational and methodological conference on the topic “Communicative competence of the future doctor” on May 20, 2024 and the acceptance of abstracts and articles for publication in the journal (Bulletin of the Tashkent Medical Academy).
We invite you to take part in the conference.

The main directions of the conference:
1. Interpersonal communication skills in medical practice are the key to a favorable environment for patients;
2. Communication skills of healthcare providers as an indicator of the quality of medical care;
3. Improving communication skills in certain socially significant diseases;
4. The influence of communication skills in the educational process on the quality of learning;
5. General issues of deontology and interpersonal relations in medicine.
The conference materials will be published in the Bulletin of the Tashkent Medical Academy. (The publication is free!).
Requirements for the design of articles:
The article must be typed on the computer in the Word program. Margins: top and bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 1.5 cm. The main font is Times New Roman, the font size of the main text is 14 points, the line spacing is one and a half, the text is aligned in width, and the paragraph indentation (red line) is 1.5 cm. The article should be saved in RTF format. There is no page numbering. The drawings are embedded in the text. Each drawing should have a caption under the drawing and a link to it in the text of the Reference to Literature in square brackets [1,2] by the list of references, which is compiled in ALPHABETICAL order, first Russian-speaking, then foreign-language sources. The list of references is drawn up according to the requirements of GOST. The volume of review articles is up to 20 pages, and the list of references is 40-50 sources. The volume of annotations in three languages (Uzbek, Russian, English) to review articles should not exceed 0.3- 0.5 pages, with keywords (3-5).
Annotations to articles containing their material should be structured, i.e., contain (briefly): the purpose, material and methods, results, conclusions, and keywords. They are also issued in three languages. General requirements for the design of a scientific article. At the beginning of the article, with the article title aligned in the center, they are indicated from the red line:
– the number according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC)
– the title of the article in the language in which the article is written,
– the surname and initials of the author,
– the name of the organization where the work was performed.
Further, in the same sequence, the information is provided in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
The article should contain:
– brief introduction (not highlighted),
– the purpose of the study,
– materials and methods of research,
– the results of the study and their discussion,
– conclusion,
– conclusions,
– literature.
Abstract design requirements: no more than 1 page (A4 format), font – Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing 1 cm, page parameters on the left side 3 cm, on the right 1.5 cm, top and bottom 2 cm. The structure of the thesis: the first line is the title of the work (in capital letters in the center), the second line is the authors (in lowercase letters in the center, Surname, first name, and patronymic), the third line is the name of the institution, the city (with italics in the center). The main content of the thesis is presented in the fourth line. The contacts of the authors (phone number, e-mail address) and the form of participation in the conference (report or publication only) should be indicated at the end of the thesis. Abstracts and articles are accepted in Uzbek, Russian, and English. The file must be submitted with the surname of the first author, for example, Akhmedov.doc
The authors are personally responsible for grammatical and stylistic errors provided in the work, as well as for its content.
