In 2021, the Tashkent Medical Academy, within the framework of the Erasmus + program, became a participant in the 619037-EPP-1-2020-1-EL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP project “Fostering the doctor of the 21st century: education for patient-centered communication” Doctor of the XXI Century: Teaching Patient-Centered Communication Skills ”), where the grant applicant is Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (Greece).
This is a project co-financed by the educational institution ERASMUS + in the field of capacity-building projects in the field of Higher Education (E + CBHE). The duration of the project is 3 years, in which the universities of European countries, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan take part.
The FOR 21 project is a consortium of nine higher education institutions, of which 3 are European universities, 2 from Russia, 2 from Uzbekistan and 2 from Kazakhstan. Its purpose is to assist in the development of educational strategies, training programs for building communication competencies and social responsibility aimed at improving the communication between doctor and patient.
