The Department of Public Health and Management of the Tashkent Medical Academy, in collaboration with the S.D. Asfendiyarov National Medical University of Kazakhstan and Samarkand State Medical University, organized a seminar on the topic “How should a doctor behave in a conflict situation?” The seminar was actively attended by employees and students of the department, who discussed conflict situations that doctors may encounter, methods for resolving them, and the role of a culture of communication in the healthcare system. During the seminar, participants shared their experiences and gained important knowledge and skills on the topic. The head of the Department of Public Health and Management of the Tashkent Medical Academy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Khudaykulova Gulnara Karimovna participated as a co-organizer and speaker of the seminar. This seminar became an important experience area for a deep understanding of conflict situations that may arise in professional activities and their effective resolution.

Emel Gümüş, currently holding the position of Director of Nursing at Tashkent International Medical Center, began his scientific and pedagogical career as an associate professor of the Department of Public Health and Management of Tashkent Medical Academy – doctor of the program “Management in Nursing” of the Institute of Medical Sciences of Istanbul University named after Cerrahpaşa. Emel Gümüş lectures on the subject of “Management in Nursing” for 2nd year students of the Higher Nursing Faculty of the department. Classes are conducted in Uzbek, Russian and English, which increases the interest of students in science and serves to further strengthen their knowledge and skills. The process of communication with students and teachers has become an effective process of exchanging scientific and practical experience.
