
The event aims to provide technical assistance in training and enhancing the capacity of healthcare managers in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to develop modern management competencies in the context of recent reforms in the implementation of state health insurance.
This seminar will feature international GIZ experts Olav Götz and Ann-Christine Hanser, who will share best international practices in strategic management, educational design, and management training. The program is being developed in close collaboration with the country’s leading medical universities, including:
• Tashkent State Medical University
• Samarkand State Medical University
• Andijan State Medical Institute
Representatives of all state higher medical educational institutions, Westminster International University in Tashkent, EMU University, and the Tashkent City Health Department are also involved in the discussion.
The creation of a modern, practice-oriented MBA program in healthcare management will be an important contribution to strengthening the institutional capacity of Uzbekistan’s healthcare system and will ensure the sustainability of ongoing reforms.
